Google may have made one of those smaller unconfirmed Google Search ranking algorithm and ranking updates around Friday, July 23rd through the weekend of Sunday, July 25th.
Google announced a link spam update was being released sometime in July 2021. The information felt like it was more visible in the more black hat areas but several website owners have reported that they noticed changes in their trafic stats from Monday, July 26th.
Fluctuations in your trafic may be related to the soft 404 bug fix, but we do not know. Or maybe you are noticing less Google traffic from the review stars bug.
There is some talk online about the google search ranking update as well as some evidence with online tracking tools that show signs of an update. This is not a massive core update, but those typical smaller unconfirmed updates can have a big impact on your trafic
